Please call within a few days of your arrival to arrange a time to pick up the keys. If you will arrive later than planned, please call us to let us know.
On arrival, we will take you through the cottage in order to take note of the cleanliness, furnishings, and supplies. You will be asked to pay the remaining amount for your stay and also to give a security deposit of 400 euros. This deposit will be fully refunded upon departure, less expenses in the rare circumstance that cleaning or repairs are needed. After arrival, all payments must be made either by cheque or in cash (in euros only for both cases). Sorry, we are not equipped for credit card payments. Upon departure, we will go through the cottage with you again. Assuming that all is in order, we will refund your security deposit.
We also furnish cleaning supplies and equipment but cannot provide other sundries such as laundry detergent and dish washing soap.
Wear and tear and minor damage are a part of everyday life (a broken plate, etc.) so please do not hesitate to point out any such problems as this will help us maintain our cottage and provide the best quality of service.
You are expected to keep the cottage clean and to leave the cottage in the same condition in which you found it. If the cleaning is unsatisfactory, we will deduct a cleaning fee of 60 euros from your deposit at the end of your stay. However, you may also choose to hire a cleaning service for 45 euros. Please let us know upon arrival if you would like to choose this option.
